bought truck, stopped running. changed fuel pump ending unit. still dn't wrk. tow to shop. fixed. ran ok then ran it empty n stalled. nw stalls everyday, sometimes won't restart few minutes, then an hour or more. what to do? filter clogged? i was asked. don't know. guess i'll check fuel pressure.

 

Check the fuel pressure. That will tell you if its sending fuel. There is an issue with VW cars in which it likes to stall after a fill up for a bit. The problem is solved by replacing the charcoal filter in the evap system. I didn't see one in the Factory Service manual but I only glanced through the two chapters contents list. You can get the 95 manual on the FAQ page fuel systems is chap 14 and emissions is chap 25.
