Default 1991 v8 rcsb fuel mileage drop

I've got a 1991 Dakota v8 automatic regular cab shortbed 2 wheel drive. My fuel ikeage suddenly took a turn for the worse. I was getting about 14 average and all of a sudden I'm at about 7 mpg. Truck is all stock except dual flowmaster exhaust. plugs wires cap rotor pickup coil fuel filter air filter are all fairly new. Thx

Ay codes? How many miles? Might be time for o2 sensors. Other things come to mind: dragging brakes, clogged catalytic converter, etc. Eliminate things one by one.
