Default Dodge 250 86 tranny

I just picked up a 1986 Dodge 250 for $200 less than a hour ago, but reverse is going out, the guy said that reverse has an adjustment underneath the tranny pan, is that possible to help it? I am not the best with tranny

727 3-speed auto?

I had an 86 W250, loved that truck. I kid you not I had over 7000 pounds of gravel/dirt in the bed and a mini-excavator on an equipment trailer behind me once. Then the torque converter exploded the next day when I had about six empty cardboard boxes in the back.

You can try adjusting the low reverse band. I'm not going to type instructions, grab your manual or search google for it. The instructions are out there all over the place.
