Thanks for the reply. Yea wouldn't expect it to do much. I want to do it for looks and sound. I'm more wondering about the sensors going into the air filter and one connected to the tube. Do those need to be reconnected somehow or can I just take everything off?

Sensors will need to be connected.

That truck has a heat riser, So if you install a aftermarket air cleaner you be using that anyway.
