Question popping from the air vents

Good morning , thanks for taking some time out to help me. My daughter has a 2008 Avenger with the four cyl. . She is having a popping sound coming from around the glove box. I would like some insight on if it would be time to replace the blend door motor or something else. This sound does not happen right away but it does continue no matter if you put it on defrost or vent. Recirculating or not doesn't matter either. The popping does stop when you turn the fan off.
What do you guys think?

Sounds like something is loose or flapping around I side the ducting it stops when the fan is off. Might take a flashlight and look inside all the vents and see if something is loose.

thanks j, you mean like a gumball, dancing around in there.? At least its not wild vents,in your opinion do you think it would be worth taking to the dealer ship to pull DTC codes and see if they could calibrate the motor travel?

Is the check engine light on? Dealer can't pull codes if none are present.

okay, just an update, pretty easy to get to the climate control parts on this car. Remove the glove box, push the passenger seat back and its all right there. Ended up being the recirculating motor. Disconnected it for now.
