My Dakota has been out of commission for the past month because of a broken shift cable. The dealer says that the shift cable part has been changed and that it is back ordered. The dealer in Littleton Colorado said that he had 89 back orders for it. I have been searching online and the only shift cable I can find is from the mid east and I can't get the payment to them to work. According to the parts manual and the dealer I have a 52110004AE but it has been superseded by 52110004AF which nobody has and nobody has any info on when they will have it. I need my truck? I've searched junk dealers too! What is going on with this? Are those 89 people also without their truck?
