Just had Transtar send a reman transmission. I was very clear letting them know my 2004 Dakota 4x4 has a 45rfe. They sent me a 5-45rfe instead. The Question is will it work. A friend of mine that rebuilds Transmissions wanted no part of rebuilding mine. He also stated that most people never reflash after swapping transmissions out and have problems. Should I send it back. How much does it matter?
