Default looking for info on aftermarket exhaust

Hey everyone, 1st time poster.
I drive an '07 Durango Ltd., and wanted to see what everyone reccomends for a decent aftermarket exhaust.
We previously had an '04, and a local muffler shop did a custom single exhaust for me. It sounded great, but they said it would be crazy expensive to fab a dual system that would fit in around all the junk at the back end of the truck.
What do you guys think?
Should I shop around for another shop that can build it for me, or am I better off to go with a kit and install it myself?
The '04 exhaust sounded good in town (deep rumble), but it was a bit too loud on the highway after an hour or so into a road trip.
Is there a system you guys would reccomend that still has a good rumble off the start, but isn't too loud on the highway?
This is our d.d., and we live 10 minutes out of the city. So, we hear the noise every day.

Welcome to the site. I have JBA exhaust headers with a Magnaflow exhaust. It has a nice rumble, bit not overly loud unless it is near the 3,000 RPM mark. The spare tire will get in the way if you do a true dual exhaust. I have a Magnaflow exhaust for sale that was never used if you are interested:

Default Flowmaster

Flowmaster sells a cat back, easy bolt on kit. Its called American Thunder 17400 and can be found for $300 shipped. I had one on my 2004 and just put one on my 2008. 3" in Dual 2.5" pipes out. 2 3" stainless steel 12" long tips. Installs in under 2 hours. A few tack welds are recommended or keep checking the clamps. Great sound not to loud. Uses all stock hangers.
