Default Oil Sending Unit....

Ok fellas, here's the thing. A few weeks ago my buddy bought an '00 Intrepid 2.7 SE. The other day he noticed the oil light coming on, so he checked his oil...The dipstick indicated it was full, so he did some research and found out that Dodge has a problem with the oil sending unit plugging up. Where is the oil sending unit located on the 2.7?
