wow, if i had known i would have caused this much trouble i wouldnt have bothered asking. I was just wondering because i just bought a dual exhaust for my car and was revving it up to hear the sound when i noticed. if the engine cant handle rpm's past that then i wont mess with it.

the other guys are missing the point, i am trying to help you. see my posts. the redline is 6500, so if it wont go over 4000, i think its something to do with the throttle or kickdown cables
