Default LT tire psi

I have a light truck tire on my 1500 which calls for passenger tires. I was wondering what the psi is supposed to be since they need more than passenger tires.

You can just run 35 psi and be fine. I have LT 285/75/16's. I plow, tow, and haul. I've had 3700lbs in the bed before (just a tad over-weight ). I run 40 psi and have had ZERO need to run more.

look on the sidewall for Max PSI and don't exceed that.
Load Range E will allow max to 80
Load Range D is 65
Load Range C is 50
Load Range B (passenger tire) is 35-40.

When unloaded, I like about 45.
When loaded, I like about 60.

Too much PSI will cause the truck to feel light and skatey in the front, as well as a little harsher ride on top of an already harsh ride.

I have one LT in the back because where I got the tire replaced they put it on by mistake but I like the LT tire. when the other side wears away ill get an LT as well... I have the LT at 35 and when I put 2k lbs in the bed it looks low, now I know why
