Default Location of Bank 1 Sensor 2

Hi,

I have a Dodge Ram 1500, V8, 318. I did some searching about an error code p0138 showing that Bank 1 Sensor 2 was having issues. I found a post saying that it is on the left side behind the cat. The problem is, I located that one but the wiring harness plug is not the same. (Possibly wrong one from the dealer) and I looked further and I cannot locate the other 2 o2 sensors. Shouldn't there be one on each of the manifolds? The only 02 sensors I found where the one fwd and one aft of the cat.

If I understand what I found on here, the P0138 code indicates the faulty one is on the left side behind the cat. Is that correct and are there only 2 02 sensors on my vehicle?

Thanks for any help you can show me.

Coben

Default RE: Location of Bank 1 Sensor 2

That's correct.

Bank 1 is always on the side of the number 1 cylinder.
