Well my truck had a very small amount of ice on it last week so I turned on the good ol mirror defrost and go figure my driver side mirror cracks. Its really funny because my Boss's mirrors are both cracked and he could never figure out how both of them cracked, mystery solved! My roomate has a 2nd gen also and he was bragging about his mirrors being perfect.. Just got a txt his Passenger side cracked this morning, go figure he had his defrost on.

All the mirrors are cracked in about the same place... im curious how many people on here have cracked mirrors from defrost, and is there any type of recalls on the mirrors? I mean its a safety feature and it appears theres gotta be something wrong with the design if they crack using an option designed for safety.
