Hey there Brunieo25, as far as the popping goes only, you may try the ignition coil. It gave me intermittent problems for a few years only when wet outdoors then the van started running terrible for three weeks. Finally it would not run at all. I replaced the ignition coil and now everything works fine. Also check for a missing or damaged, rusted or corroded ground strap. Good Luck! 2001 dodge 3500 maxi van 5.2 gas

K I will try all that but i just found out that my ECM came off a Dakota Automatic I think thats y i'm getin all them stupid codes. fixin to purchase a ECM for a ram 3.9L stick shift
