Question Rear Diff went bad

Hey guys looking for some help and advice. I have an 01 1500 with of road pkg. I got a rumble/vibration in the drive line and put it in the local shop. Result is the rear diff is shot. My question is should I rebuild the one I have, or do upgrade from the 3.55s to the 4.10s or just find a used 3.55 rear diff and switch them out. Also if I up grade do I get everything to do the rebuild with the gears and master install kit. Thanks for any helpful input as I have only had one diff go bad in my many years of Mopar driving and it just exploded internally so there were no real options except to replace it.

IIRC, the off road package was suppose to have 4.10 gears from the factory.

I have the 4.10s on 265x70x16 tires and like it a lot. Highway mpgs suffer a bit, but in town driving is much better

if u have a true offroad then it will have 4.10 gears on it already so all u should have to do is rebuild it. if yours isnt and u want to upgrade from 3.55s u will need front and rear 4.10 gears two install packages gear oil for the front and rear diffs and a new speedo gear as well.
