Default Back-up switch

ok i noticed my back-up light were not working, i found the switch bad got a new one today and tested it before screwing it in but it is not working when installed? what could be the problem? Inside the manual trans?

with the switch out i can push the metal ball in and the lights come on.

sound like something inside the transmission might have broke.

Default Fixed the back-up lights

the problem was that the replacement from the store was too short manufacter defect. got one from a different store and it works.
