Default Ball joints??

2001 Dodge ram four-wheel-drive sport.
Both of the front outside tires are wearing faster than inside would that be the Ball joints going bad

Jack the front end up and grab the top and bottom of the tire. If it moves when you grab the top and bottom its likely ball joints, if it moves when you grab the front and back its likely a tie rod end and if it moves when you grab both of them its likely a wheel bearing. The easiest way is with a friend. Have him shake the tire and you see where the movement is coming from.

Sounds more like an alignment issue.

What front suspension work has been performed to-date on your truck? Common wear items are ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, shocks, track bar and front U-joints.
