Headlight upgrade

But they don't play nice with plastic lenses/housings :-/

I'll be ordering the parts to do this conversion shortly. I already have the LMC harness installed for the 9004's currently on the truck (which made a pretty noticeable difference). I am buying the 9007 kit from LMC made for the "sport" model trucks so that each light is run off an individual relay. The only mod required to this harness would be the trigger switch, ie. changing the 9007 socket to a 9004 socket, which requires swapping the socket wires around. You'd have to extend the trigger wire as well to end up on the passenger side (it will come wired for the drivers side).
As said above if you are just looking for better light output do the relay kit, polish your lenses and most importantly buy some 80w/100w high output bulbs. I am currently running this setup and light output is drastically better than when I got the truck. I'm only interested in doing the dual beam swap to get rid of leaky headlights and for nice clear lenses to update the look of the front end.

Would the relay harness for non sport and ebay kit (http://m.ebay.com/itm/380807035946?nav=SEARCH) be as good as the 99+ sport relay harness and new housings?
I don't want to have to modify the 99+ sport relay harness but if all i have to do is extend a wire and swap plugs i can do that.

Each side has a 9007 and a 9004 bulb, I use the Piaa extreme white rated at 65/55 (listed as being equivalent to 120/110) times that by 4 and I have some good lighting watts. I have the 9004's wired up with relays and on a toggle switch so they don't work with the reg headlights. I can run with all four on low and I don't get flashed by others, I won't use them if I don't need to.

Why would i have to extend trigger wire to passenger side? Is that the wire that goes to the headlight switch inside? Also why do the socket plugs have to be swapped?

Either way using this method you don't have any connectors unused / flopping around / corroding etc.
Wow you must have some cash to burn. They are $140 (US) shipped on ebay for a pair, complete. I picked up the lights, clear fogs w/ bulbs, headlight bulbs and a LMC harness harness for the price of one of those. Can't see them being any worse quality, most factory sports I've ever seen had hazed lights. My $0.02

Just easier for me thats all, call Dodge parts, supply part numbers go to town the next day and pick up said parts. No shipping fee's, no duties (it's in the price already lol), no wait time and I get a Mopar part.
No hazing as of yet, I carry a bottle of water in the truck and a nice soft terry cloth to clean my lights with, no squeegees used here.
