yeah I read 2-3 hours is what you should let it sit for, but it was getting dark so I had to go out after 2.5 hours. Think its best to let it sit so it can soak in and do its magic.

I've heard of people letting it sit overnight after doing a plenum fix. When I did mine I think I let it sit for about 3.5 hours. When you fire it up you swear someone's going to call the cops or even the fire dept.

well, have you noticed any improvement in power or performance? What about mileage? Anything at all?

Ok little update:

So far (2 days later) the only thing I have noticed, I think, I'll have to check it a couple of more times, is that it smoothed out the idle of my truck. When I would start it up and let it idle, about 15 seconds into it, it would seem like it would bog down and rpm would go down a bit, but it seems better now. No performance gains, probably because my 285 tires with 3.55 gears are blocking any slight increases I might have noticed. Mileage, I just filled up today and calculated 11.4 but that is from October 30 so not much time for the cleaning to have been a part of it. Next time I fill up I should get a better mileage reading, I have done mopar combustion chamber cleaner, 1/2 a quart of marvel mystery oil in the gas, and 2 chevron techron 12oz. bottles in the tank today (put them in with 1/8 tank left then filled up). And I just got couple of fel pro TB gaskets in today so I plan on cleaning the TB this weekend also, not sure when the next time I will fill up is going to be, most likely early next week again.

yeah it makes sense the longer it has the soak in the more it works on the build up. Be sure to have someone take pictures
