waiting any longer than 30 minutes is a waste of time.

the deposits that are left after 30 mins arent going to go anywhere after 2-3 hours.

in fact the seafoam guys say that the deposits that are going to be cleaned are done so within the first 10mins.

what might make more sense is to do 2 treatments a couple of days apart... that way once all the crap is blown out, anything left can be caught on the next treatment.

the best method of preventing deposits is use good gas to begin with. Chevron is my favorite.

it was rough right as i hit the gas getting into 1,000 rpm and its gone, just seams to run much better now. still idling alittle low for my liking but at least now it doesnt feel like its gunna die when i come to a stop. i guess ill throw in some injector cleaner tomorrow since im kinda in my winter tune up mood. i might shoot another can through it in a few days

what type of injector cleaner are you using? I just put in 2 12oz bottles of chevron techron yesterday right before fillup, I'll see how that works.

oh yea and tani have you used seafoam before to compare? and how did you use the stuff, through brake booster or through TB?

I think, its kinda early, but it seems like my fuel gauge has been fixed by the techron, it claims to remove sulfer caked on the fuel sending unit i think it is. my guage usually stays past full for awhile then drops down quick and then goes normal. but now its moved already and I just filled up yesterday.

ive never used sea foam before, i went right into the tb and i sprayed the IAC and the cleaned everthing else really good after while it was off. im gunna run another can in a day or two. for the fuel injector clean i use the same stuff you do. everything else is just cheap. i also only put in the hole bottle with only about 1/4 tank if that. seams to clean it alot better. i think last time i did it i use the bottle for 20 gallons with 5 gallons of gas lol. worked good though
