Just a couple of 42re - 46re questions

The 42/46R (96-up) versions are electronically controlled by the pcm(all shifts, everything). But basted off of your tag that you have a 92 Dakota you would have a 42RH The RH(95-down) are hydraulically controlled (automatically), only the OD and TCC are electronically controlled.

The RE series of transmissions are electronically controlled, RH is Hydraulically. So you know the naming scheme for CHrysler transmissions is:
4 - # of Gears
2/6 - Torque Rating (Higher is able to take more torque)
R - Rear WHeel Drive
E/H - Electricaly/Hydraulically controlled.

Awesome! I wondered what those meant. I have a 95 with the 46RH. Im perty happy.
