Unhappy code C2500??

hey, so seems i've been on a roll lately with needing to make repairs

today my truck was spitting out some codes at me, i got P0700, C2500, and P0700 Pd. i know the P0700 is transmission related, but i have no idea what C2500 is. i looked for it and couldn't find any info. does anyone know what this is?

anything helps!
thanks!

Never heard of it. I'd clear them and see if it comes back.

C2500 = "Your car thinks it's a Chevy truck. Sorry for the performance hit."

(No, that's not what it really means. That's, I say, that's a joke, son!)

Ya, so I ended up clearing it, hasn't come back on yet. Also I had that P0700 code come on about 2 months ago. So not sure if that helps.

Haha ralphP, very funny.

Hey guys, update here. So I installed a new CAI today off ebay, and now it's spitting more codes out, not sure if related or just fluke. So I got P0700, P0700 Pd, P1776, P1776 Pd, C2525, C2525 Pd.

Any input appreciated. Also what does the 'Pd' at the end mean?

Will be going to dealer tmr to see what they can figure out, but want to know what you guys know first.

Thanks

Steve

Never heard of the PD or the C2500. Dealer will probably know. Report back what you find out.

I don't KNOW - but I'd almost bet the "Pd" means it's a "Pending" code, i.e., it's not quite tripped the error level enough to set it again.
