Can anyone provide a SIMPLE step by step for doing this?

I have a 2013 Durango Citadel w/Hemi and all options.

I've done this with at least 2 other Chrysler cars without any problems.

Thanks,
Harv1234,

Have you selected the "Remote Linked to Memory" feature through the EVIC, prior to programming the RKE transmitters? When OFF is selected on the EVIC system, only the MEMORY switch on the driver's door panel will recall the memory profiles. To make your selection, press and release the SELECT button a check-mark appears next to the feature showing the system has been activated or the check mark is removed showing the system has been deactivated. More information can be found on page 345 of the Owner's Manual.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions please PM me.

Like stated above there is no need to pop key and the ignition should be off. The biggest failure on programming this is that the "Remote linked to memory" is not selected in the EVIC before starting the process. Below is the instructions.

NOTE: Before programming your RKE transmitters you
must select the “Remote Linked to Memory” feature
through the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC),
refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)/
Customer-Programmable Features” in “Understanding
Your Instrument Panel” for further information.

To program your RKE transmitters, perform the following:
1. Remove the Key Fob from the ignition (or change the
ignition to OFF, for vehicles equipped with Keyless
Enter-N-Go).
2. Select desired memory profile (1) or (2).
NOTE: If a memory profile has not already been set,
refer to Programming The Memory Feature for instructions
on how to set a memory profile.
3. Once the profile has been recalled, press and release
the SET (S) button on the memory switch, then press
and release button (1) or (2) accordingly. “Memory
Profile Set” (1 or 2) will display in the instrument
cluster on vehicles equipped with the EVIC.
4. Press and release the LOCK button on the RKE
transmitter within 10 seconds.
NOTE: Your RKE transmitters can be unlinked to your
memory settings by following steps 1-4 above and pressing
the UNLOCK button (instead of LOCK) on the RKE
transmitter in Step 4.

Manual says:

To program a key fob to the memory position, place the ignition switch in the LOCK position and remove the key fob, press and release the LOCK button on the key fob to be programmed within 5 seconds of pressing button 1 or 2.

Place the ignition switch in the ON/RUN position, select Remote Linked to Memory in the EVIC and enter yes.

Press 1 or 2 to recall saved positions, or press UNLOCK on the programmed key fob.

Refer to the Owner's Manual on the DVD for further details.

Well, I tried the above as best I could and it didn't work. Also, I can't find any more detail on the DVD. I may just take the keys to the dealer and get them to do it (if they'll do it for free).

Can anyone else figure out the above? It's on page 21 in my 2013 Durango User Guide.

SUCCESS!!! IGNORE MY LAST POST.

Thanks Katie & Chris for the clarification. The manual is not that clear.

BTW - I'm pretty impressed that there are Chrysler Care staff on here that can answer these questions.
