How does it drive compared to the D? I am really contemplating getting the 14 Grand Cherokee with the Diesel. but i really the Durango a lot. Please could you give me a review and comparison with both vehicles? Thanks. Your the only person i have seen and been able to ask about both trucks. Thanks

we had the Durango heat with the v6 and the Durango is too heavy IMHO for the v6. It seemed to constantly change gears trying to maintain cruising speeds for example. The GC has options you cannot get on the Durango and is more luxurious. The Durango interior materials felt cheaper imho. Probably the lack of leather dash and wood combinations. Plus no panoramic roof. The pano roof is a must have! If you are interested in diesel.....the GC with the 3.0 vm motori diesel is a complete beast. The Durango with the hemi cannot match its torque at all. When it comes down to it....you need to drive both and find the best for you.

I appreciate it. ill have to wait for it to come out and go for a ride. I like my Crew but i really really really like the diesel. Is there a big difference in interior room (driver, passengers and trunk) from the 2 models?

front and rear seat room is the same as far as I know. But the rear cargo room is a lot more if you don't get the 3rd row seats. Im sure there are specs on both at jeepgarage.
