Default Rebuilding the hemi - Budget power add ons?

The old hemi died going down the road, went off to work for a few weeks and when I pulled the dipstick it had gained a few litre's of 'oil'. Since I've got coolant in the oil, I'm pulling the motor for a rebuild. What are a few power add-ons I could throw in without breaking the bank? Looking for more low-end power especially. Good sources for rebuild parts would be helpful as well

Since you have an 03, get a comp 260 (or similar or a custom cam), build your heads with 6.1 springs, add some 6.1 pushrods and you can tune it with a superchips. I would recommend a converter while you have it out, maybe an upgraded VB. Will change the nature of your truck.

A stroker kit is very, very, tempting. But way out of my budget for sure.

What if you rebuilt your current Hemi to factory specs...then bought ANOTHER Hemi and did the stroker on that one.

That way you'd have a truck and could take your time with the stroker.
