05 2500 hd 4x4 10.25" rear, could be a 10.5" can't remember right now, lol. is it a corporate, dana, eaton?? it is a ls rear diff with 4.10s. i was under it a few days ago, and found no tag. an was just curious who made it. i'm sure the front is a corporate, but not so sure about the rear. didn't want to start another thread, but i spent a few hours searching, and googling. maybe i didn't research enough, or go indepth enough, or over looked it.

 

really the best thing to do is get a build sheet on it.


The diffs are made by American axle in three rivers MI, I drive by it every day. It may or may not be an lsd, is a 10.5, the front diff is an 9.25 open, unless someone put an aftermarket center in.


I wasn't aware that a 5spd stick was available for the 05. I have an 05 2500 5.7 and it was special ordered to get the stick, and it only spec'd out the g56 MB 6spd----learn something new every day!

 

It is a LSD, I was just curious if was a Dana 60 or 70, or not even a Dana at all. All the I'd sticker in the glovebox says is a 10.5 LSD rear axle 4.10 ratio. Front 9.25 4.10. I get time I'll go by the dealer and get all info I can for free on it, lol. Recalls, and a build sheet hopefully. And any other info I can get.
