2006 4x2 problem areas?
folks,
SOrry if this shows up twice. I thought I posted it and it doesn't show up. Anyway, I have a 2001 2500 4x4 diesel and am thinking of buying a 2006 4x2 diesel. My 2001 doesn't have the 53 block and I put on an Airdog 150 after replacement of the VP44. It has about 92,000 miles. The 2006 I'm looking at has 105,000 and had a recent fluid change and a transmission temp gauge added.
Am I stupid in thinking of this change? Is there known problems with the 2006 that I should be considered? Are injectors a frequent concern? Any need for a FASS or AirDog on this truck if I leave it basic stock?
