2005 2500 5.9l A/C clutch fuse blowing
OK guys...need help!
Just had a new Jasper Reman put in in November. A/C worked great before. Now its blowing the a/c clutch fuse everytime i turn it on. Unplugged the harness from the clutch and fuse doesnt blow. I should think i have a bad clutch. Coincidence? I checked resistance thru the clutch circuit @ 3.9 ohms which i think is in spec. Also, im not showing a short with my meter.
Am i missing something? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only other option i see is where the harness for the clutch is secured to the back of the compressor. With the motor change, they didnt remove compressor. They just unbolted it and moved it to the side. They also had a hard time getting the motor in. Possibly could have stressed that wire where it is clamped to the compressor. Only issue is, its secured right under where the system refrigerant lines are bolted on. Looks like i'll have to empty system and take that block off the compressor to even get to it.
Ideas?
