Thought I’d share some feed here since I always look forothers. I was running BF G Rugged Terrains on my 08 1500. I do plow with it andI know most don’t since it’s only a ½ ton truck. I decided to change tofirestone due the feedback from tire rack and just word of mouth on a bettersnow rating and longer lasting tire. I can’t give a snow rating yet but rideand comfort are excellent so far I would say a bit better than BF. The BF G’swhere not bad but last winter had a hard time pushing snow once they were morethan half worn. I do like the tires besides that having 35K miles on them andwhere pretty quiet for such an aggressive looking tire. I will say I think thelooks on the side wall of BF G a little bit better than the firestone. But for me performance is everything. Guess well see when the first flakes fall. Just thought I would past this quick share on.

I know they weren't on a big, heavy truck like ours (1500 or 2500), but my wife had these on an XTerra for a number of years. I was very, very impressed by both the performance and the mileage out of them. I believe it was Hammer who said he knew a guy in upstate NY who used them on a plow truck and swears by them.

They are also stock on my CTD. No complaints and I'll probably run them til worn but I'll likely replace them with a tire with a little more off road bite with a Thompson or Cepek label...
