Default do i need to regear front and back

I am saving up to regear my truck, it is a 4x4, but 95% of my driving is street. Do i need to regear both front and back, or just back in order to compensate for my 35 in tires

yes, you have to regear the front and the back. You cannot have a different gear ratio in the back than in the front.

Technically no unless you are going to engage 4wd, as soon as you do then bad things will happen.

if you dont do any 4 wheelin, go ahead and just regear the rear for now. but for a precautionary thing. remove the frt drive shaft. that way if you lock into 4 wheel it wont. but regearing for 4 wheel is kinda expensive
