4.7 vs 5.7 hemi

RE: 4.7 vs 5.7 hemi
As far as resale is concerned, when I was looking at used rams before I got my 06, the price difference between the 4.7 and 5.7 was roughly $1000. So if you decide to spend that extra grand now, you will get most (if not all) of it back in resale value. Not to mention the added power and improved gas mileage from 30-65 mph.

RE: 4.7 vs 5.7 hemi
If you need the truck for towing go for the hemi. I bought the 4.7 so I could get a little better gas milage and kind of regret it. The gas milage is about the same. I get about 12MPG in the city and I am not heavt on the gas. The truck does fine with out towing. I have not towed anything yet but I think the 4.7 will be too slugish if you are towing something heavy. The other concern I am starting to have is over the spark plugs. the 4.7 has to have the spark plugs changed at 30,000 miles vs. the hemi's 100,000 mile spark plug.
