My MDS doesn't come on as often. The update did change the clock as well as the engine hours (the one that counts hours minutes and seconds not the other that just shows the hours). That's probably due to having to reset the system. I am a little upset that it seems to have messed with the MDS.
I had this flash yesterday. MDS doesn't seem any different. The engine hour display resets just like the trip odometer.

I thought that too, but as the more I drive it, it seems to be learning again, so maybe it will get better. I'll know more after next weeks trip way up north.

no question it is "learning". it's been about three weeks since i had the MDS flash and the efficiency of the 4 cylinder mode is much better now than when i first had it done. it's also better than before the flash.

Just to follow up, my MDS is much better than after the flash. I think it is back to normal. Been better anyway.

Just curious, when they come out with these RRT's, does the plants correct their builds to fix these problems with any new rigs being built from that point on?

yes. for instance, the washer harness for early build 09 trucks is cut out, and install an overlay harness. new trucks have a revised harness, updated sensors, and such.

Yeah. Mine is back to normal too. I didn't know it had to re-learn. Glad to have it back.
