Default RKE issues.

2009 Qc Laramie;111k Hey fellas, this all started after TIPM failure; So the dealer replaces the Tipm and I go to get in it, doors do not open, only with the key, and then the alarm goes off until the fob is inserted; dealer says its a defective tipm, they change it again, same thing, check all fobs,[2 are brand new] all fobs are good. They change the PCM, and the win module, same issue. Upon disconnecting the battery it will work fine for a few hours and then nothing. Then out of the blue it will work fine, then nothing. Its a factory remote start as well, any ideas? Can this system be bypassed? and replaced by aftermarket?Thank You.

Is your vehicle still currently at a certified FCA dealer? If not, are you willing to take it back to the dealer for further assistance? Thanks! – Kevin T, Social Connect Team

Dodge cares:...Thank you for your response, this vehicle is only serviced by Dodge, as a 2009 with the lifetime powertrain warranty, and additional lifetime max-care, they[my local Nevada Chrysler dealer] have always been spot on, accomadating and courteous, so much so, that I bring my 05 PT cruiser to them for any work needed.[all out of pocket]. But I think this has them scratching their heads.

I’d be happy to look further into this and work with your servicing dealer to find a resolution. Please provide your VIN, servicing dealer and phone number if you’d like further assistance. – Kevin T, Social Connect Team
