So whats the top speed you got on your automatic neon??
On my stock 04 neon sxt, i got 105, and i have yet to do anything to it.

What kind of mods on your car enabled you to get that speed?????

 

i've had my g/f's 99 auto to 105 - 110 racing a escort with a fart cannon up interstate 81 . it ran good but had a lil shake to it . she started flippin out so i had to back off . lol . it was still pulling good and its stock i think they shut down at 120 something but not sure , could be wrong , the trans slips a lil now

Then again, I don't have a stock ATX.

 

Damn Crazy, thats crazy! I've had mine up to 117 in 4th, it was still pullin pretty well when I left off, I chickened out. And as far as I know, I would of only made it to 122 anyways if I had kept going.

 

And I've only got 3 gears and never hit the rev limiter last time I did that.

Lately, I've had the car to 110+ but that's cause there was no one on the highway and I don't get to drive the car much anymore so I do it to burn the cobwebs out of it.

 

Well mine nots an auto but I had my brother run beside me in my 03 mtx, he got up to about 135+/- before he signaled the limiter was kickin in

 

I love speed posts, some people catch a fish this bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggg gg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When is was only this bbbbbiiiiiigggggg, lol.

 

I've got GPS and a Digital camera. I'm sure I can work something out next time I do it where I snap a pic of the speedometer on the GPS.

I hear ya casper. I don't believe the 135+/- from TJW815 with an 03, if I'm not mistaken they're limited to 122mph unless he so managed to take that off. In which case he wouldn't know he was going 135 because the SXT speedo only goes up to 120.

 

as does mine(spedo goes to 120).... mine is not an auto and i havent topped out yet... ive only gone like 105mph... but that was the first time i had ever been over 85 so SHUT UP.
