It is too bad that Chrysler is under the roof of another parent company but I think that it's going to be different this time. Fiat, it appears to me, appreciates what Chrysler has to offer and actually NEEDS Chrysler to compete with the global giants. Both companies compliment each other very well. Time will tell but I believe Mr. Marchionne will keep Chrysler as it should be kept. At least Chrysler is still alive!! Right now they're even starting to kick a little butt and takin' some names. Feels good!!

The Omni/Horizon were designs Chryco bought from Volkswagon. And Ghia helped design some of the late 50's/early 60's Chryslers. I do agree that this is different in the fact that Chrysler is now a subsidiary of a foreign company and that saddens me.

I don't care if they tweak the inside of our cars, but I really don't want them touching the exterior or engine. Corvettes are already bowing down to the euro types. It is suppose to have a 3 liter V8 that revs to 10,000 RPM. I'll keep my 8.3L, I like the sound of big engines not high revving liter cars, the ricers can have at it with those.
