I still wonder why they built a new more aggressive body, a monster engine cranked up to 6.4 with 50 more HP and left the old gearbox??? Why didn't they put the 8speed transmission in the srt8 but only in the sxt model with pentastar 3.6? 6.4 liter, almost 480HP and **** 5speed transmission? WTF? Even the new Audi A7 with 3.0 liter has a 8speed not to mention that the old ones like the A6 from 2009 had already a 7speed.
I don't get it. To all you enthusiasts: is it possible to replace the 5speed with a 8 speed from the sxt?

 

Can the 8 speed handle 470hp and 470lb?
