Default Need an opinion aftereffects of installing new coilsprings and strut kits

Hey I wanted some opinions regarding this issue. I bought oem spec strut and springs from amazon for my sxt fwd caliber 2.0. I got them put on yesterday by a mechanic and I noticed it riding high, when I was driving it I noticed very hard grinding sound turning, if I speed faster than 30mph the tires start screeching, and the bumps are felt hard. The car also jerks about the faster I go. The mechanic told me that it is because the ride height is uneven that it is acting up. The height in the back is slightly lower than the front. I need to know if ride height is the issue and if lowering springs will help.
I was also told it might be bad tie rods and even installing the struts backwards
