'00 dodge caravan plugs!!!!!!!!!

I am in the process of changing my wifes plugs in her 2000 caravan and i can't seem to ge the plug closest to the alternator out. is there any "easy" way that i can do this????

Well non of the choices are easy, but I loosened the alternator and swung it back after removing the belt, then the plug was quite accessible. This was on a 3.3 and the 3.8 will be the same.

I just did my wifes 96 and I changed them from under the van on a hoist!! My hand is still all scratched up!! Good luck!! I used a shorty rachet with a 1 inch extension

it is a 3.0L will it work the same way as the 3.3?

if you dont mind the extra work
removing the belt then the alternator then yes its similiar to the 3.3/3.8
just use a knuckle on the socket and a short extention(3 inch)
reach in from the drivers side and feel for the no1 plug
the hard part is getting the plug wire off if the wires been on the plug for awhile
the other 5 plugs are easy
