I have a 2006 Grand Caravan. This car was a victim of a dive through the ice into lake Pelican last Feb. All of the wireing was replaced and some of the computer modules. I purchased the car at a good price in September, knowing there would be some occasional problems.
Occasionally we have problems with correct shifting and once or twice last winter is seemed to completely loose power. We pull the car over and shut it off. Then we restart and it seems fine.
Recently I had the code P0068 come up twice. This is the MAF / MAP Sensor Throttle position correlation code.
Is there a way that I can test the MAP sensor or the throttle position sensor. Or perhaps I should just replace them both. I have had the vehicle into the dealership put the problems never repeat when they have the car and I am tired of paying lots of money for nothing. That's why I recently purchased a code reader, hopeing to take care of the problem myself.
With this type of code are those the two sensors to suspect or should I look elsewhere.?
