How to remove plugs from IPM / fuse box? '02

I've got corrosion on my IPM connector pins. I want to try to clean the corrosion from all the connection points to save myself the $700 replacement cost of a new IPM. I've gotten one of the plugs removed from the bottom of the module, but the rest won't budge. It there any trick to getting these off?
