Default Check Engine Light

My check engine light has come on twice in the past two days. Both times I was sitting at a stop light. Both times the light went off as I started moving again. The trouble code I am getting is P2503. I have replaced the battery within the last two months. The only other thing that I have noticed in the vans behavior is that the A/C seemed to be acting up a bit. There were a couple of times where it didn't seem to be blowing as much air. I could hear the air but it wasn't blowing out the vents.

I plan on taking it in but I would like to have an idea of what it could be first. I don't want anyone blowing air up my vents!

Check the alternator, serpentine belt and all the connections between the battery, alternator and starter. Remove and clean them all, especially the ground(s).
