noise from dead stop

Default noise from dead stop

i have a 92 voyager se with a 3.0l . recently i blew apart the left side inner c.v. joint , replaced it with a rebuit one from advance auto parts and no i get a growling or a gron from a dead stop . any ideas ?

I would wonder about the side bearing on that side, and if the CV really blew apart it may have tweeked the gears in the differential that the splines on the CV engage with. Pull that CV and see what the splines look like even though it's new. Good Luck

I'm sorry, when I said the side bearing, I mean the bearing in the cone on the differential that the axel slides through on it's way to the differential gears. Not the wheel bearing..... Good Luck
