Default Thinking About Buying A Caravan

I'm thinking about buying a used 2006 Caravan. Pretty basic model, but has the DVD player, 3.3 liter engine, tinted windows, etc. Anything specific I should look for?

Not sure if the 3.3 on the one you're considering is a flex fuel, but I have a 3.3 flex fuel on my 2000. Filling up w/e-85 is a nice option if you live somewhere that sells it.

I'm wondering about the reliability of the transmission. I seem to see a lot of posts about tranny problems. Any input there?

Don't know about the newer (post-2001) vans, but I've put a lot of miles on my 2000 and the tranny has been OK. It lurches a little coming to a stop, but it's done that for years and I don't really even notice anymore.

The trans issues of past have been addressed. I haven't heard anything bad from 05 on. Use the correct fluid and change it at specified intervals.
