Default caravan dieing

hi everybody. i drive a 1998 caravan with the 3.8L engine. tonight when i was driving, i was coasting to slow down and take a turn when i noticed i couldnt turn the wheel because the engine had died. i threw it in neutral and it started right away then i went to go get some gas just incase my gauge was lieing. i dont think that was the problem. are there any ideas out there as to what it could be?

It could be one of those things that you may never see again. You could also clean the inlet bore to the throttle body with a toothbrush and solvent.

Mine gummed up there but would not idle at all once it started giving me problems. Had to keep the engine above idle to get it home.

Thought to check your engine codes?

I know that some vehicles have whats called a PS pressure Differental Switch. This switch sends a signal to the computer indicating the PS pump is putting a load on the engine, thus tellng the computer to give more fuel.

Now I dont know if yours has this or not,but I have heard of people having the same prob in vehicles that do....

Might look into it.....No promises, but it MIGHT be a place to start....
