Default Help on Oxygen Sensor ?

DIY possible: Change O2 Sensor?
Anyone know where it is located on a 2002 Dodge Caravan v6 3.3?
Bank 1 Sensor 1.
Anyone have an engine diagram showing sensor locations?

It is on the exhaust manafold prior to the catalytic converter. Typically they unscrew (15/16 wrench i think) pretty easy if you reach it easy enough. The trouble i've had a couple of times is connecting the harness because it tends to be a one armed area either from up top or down below. Good luck

1/1 is bank one ,upstream o2. which ever is the closest spark plug to the fton of the engine is bank one look at the engine on the passanger side and which ever one is closest to u first is bank one. and upstream is the one b4 the cats

1/1 O2 sensor is in the manifold at the rear of the engine by the firewall. The wire connector is easiest to get to from underneath. Both O2 sensors are attached to a bracket at the back of the engine. You can get to it from up top, but its much easier from the bottom. You have to disengage the little red lock on the connector before the connector will come apart. The sensor is impossible to get to with a wrench. I use aO2sensor socket to get to em, just did one this past week as a matter of fact. There are only 2 O2 sensors on these vans because of the exhaust design.
