Exploding Sunroof

Driving my 2016 Charger with 2000 miles on it down the highway and the sunroof explodes! What could cause this? Scared me to death and there was glass everywhere!

it exploded from the inside as you can see from the photos!

Excess pressure in the cab? Stress on the glass when installed? Might want to ask the dealer if there are any TSB's on it.

Ho lee ***. That's crazy.

What could cause it? Don't know, but clearly that was a bad part or install from the factory.

Upon doing some research, this seems to be a more common occurrence than you would think. And it's not specific to manufacturer or make and model.
