Default Winter Tires for 2012 Charger

Just picked up 2012 sxt Plus with factory 20s. I'm going to need some winter tires within the next month.

I had originally planned on getting a set of the steel pursuit rims. Called the dealer today for a price & was told the 18s wont fit because of the brakes. Does anyone know if this is actually the case? Seems unlikely they would use different brakes across the line-up (-SRT). I don't recall ever ordering brakes for any vehicle and bring asked what size of rims I have??

So is this actually the case and I'm stuck paying 2k for snow tires to put on the 20's and ruin them, or is the parts guy out to lunch?

TIA

Go to a tire/wheel store ( like discount tire) and ask.
