Default Bluetooth Doesn't Connect

I have a 2014 Dodge Charger srs and with the 4.3 inch uconnect system and I'm trying to connect my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to the car, but I can't find it anywhere when I scan for more devices on the Bluetooth setting. Any help would be appreciated. Also wondering if it isn't able to connect if I can upgrade the system to a newer uconnect system and have the controls on the steering wheel still work. Thanks!

FWIW: I have a 2014 R/T with the 8.4 and was able to connect my Samsung Galaxy S7 without any issues. Paired up the first time I tried it.
