found the CEL all the lights where gone and a plastic cover was hiding the connections
got the codes 12 ecu reset, 46 battery charge off range, 33 AC relay, 52 running to rich. nothing about the tranny

ATF +4 is 4.50$ to 6.50 a quart.
ATF +3 has not been manufactured since ~'04
Dexron and mercon have completely different friction modifiers.
Do you know the history of the tranny? how many miles on it ? They generally last 130k miles if taken care of.
Check the following site.
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/transmissions/fluids.html
46, charge voltage too high. Add distilled water to battery to just below the vents, about 1&1/4 inches below top surface. Use Eye protection
Get digital multimeter, check voltage at battery engine off/running idle/running ~2000rpm.post results
Remove and clean battery lugs. Follow ground wire from battery to firewall and engine, remove. Make mating surfaces shiny, retighten.
Look closely at the wire connections on back of alternator.
Check running voltages, post results
AC relay: Does the AC work?
Running too rich could be the O2 sensor, too much fuel pressure, weak spark, faulty injector, coolant temp sensor reading too cold.
The connectors at the engine computer can get corroded and cause weird intermittent issues. With battery disconnected carefully remove connnectors. There should be clear dieelectric grease on all the pins and barrels. If you see green or black then a full cleaning is necessary. Use a bright light and inspect closely
Many times the transmission is blamed for what is an engine issue.
Just a possibility here

I live in sweden so here a oil change to atf 4 would cost 170 $ thats about half of what a tranny in good shape would cost. so Im going to change tranny driving so long with about half the oil in the tranny must have hurt it in some way. I dont believe an oil change to atf 4 will solve the problem. very sertain this is not an engine problem.
thanks for all the help guys. will defenitely check all the CEL codes also and service the engine
