Can these ball joint be press out or are the permanently installed from the factory?

 

Which corner of the car? Sedan or Coupe? all this makes a difference in the price of the control arm versus just the ball joint. where i live, going price at the local stores for the sedans front control arms are only $6 more than the ball joint alone. might be worth it to buy the whole thing and not worry about pressing it.

 

It is a sedan, 2.4 liter front L and R upper ball joint. I paid $15 dollars for two ball joint.

 

in that case, they are removable. And pressing them in isn't too bad if you have some big impact sockets and a good bench vise.
